THE BRIEF

Warner Brothers Studios released its new animated film, “Scoob”, a reboot of the classic series, Scooby-Doo. To market the release of this film, Warner hired Movers + Shakers, who in turn, turned to CAD Management to facilitate the production and A&R for an original TikTok theme song for what would be called the #ScoobDance challenge


THE WORK

Through CAD Management’s deep relationships with songwriters, producers, and artists, our firm was able to A&R a theme song written and produced by Ben Cina that since its release, has racked up over 3.6 billion impressions, according to RelishMix. The campaign, which had content created by influencers such as Jalaiah Harmon (creator of the viral Renegade Challenge) and actors Zach Effron helped drive the film to #1 on FandangoNow (which tracks total revenue as opposed to individual transactions) which was a major success given the fact that the film debuted as a PVOD title ($20 to rent and $25 to buy) as a result of coronavirus-related theater closures.
